Pro Align putters are designed with “stripes” perpendicular to the face, in this case Purpleheart, to match the putter core.  Ironwood caps off the top. Ironwood is often a common name for many woods that have a reputation for hardness, or specifically, a wood density that is heavier than water. This species happens to be Desert Ironwood.   A slice of Wenge (wen-gay) adds to the height and heft of the putter.  Maple caps off the bottom.
